cityWild.org: cityWild is one of our favorite local charities helping at risk inner-city youth get involved with the outdoors. We accept product donations on behalf of cityWild to sell and raise money for this Denver, CO based organization.
BirdsNews.com: As a member of the Next Ascent family and easily our favorite birding website. Founded in 2010 by lifelong birder, journalist and university
communications director Rex Graham, Birds News.com is dedicated to
providing news about birds. The website is free to all visitors. Our
news content, generated by a team of professionals, is original,
editorially independent, balanced and accurate to the greatest degree
possible
TellurideAdaptiveSports.org: Next Ascent loves to help out wherever and whenever they can to one of the best outdoor based charities around. TASP’s main activities include the adaptive ski program operating daily during the winter at the Telluride Ski Area and a mix of focused summer sports programs. We also conduct clinics and special events including the Expand Your Horizons! Ski Camp-for advanced skiers with disabilities, cycling clinics, Nordic and snowshoe clinics and more. TASP also provides volunteer opportunities, training for staff and volunteers, scholarships for students needing financial assistance and adaptive equipment. This past winter, we initiated a Wounded Warriors project for Troops injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. We plan to expand this project and host three weeklong events for active duty servicemen/women and Vets with disabilities this winter and next summer.
