The North Star was designed with no compromise on quality and functionality in mind. With 200g (size UK 12) of highest quality Ukrainian goose down at 93/7, encased in a highly water resistant and windproof shell it is built for versatility in that it is light and warm enough to be used in a multitude of situations due to its well-considered features. Neat tailored baffle design allows the efficient trapping of body heat and generous body length for comfort. Wear it year round in the mountains and on winter endeavours.

- Exceptionally high quality Ukrainian goose down
- Active cut and full length reversed, baffled two-way front zip
- Stitch through construction with mini baffles
- Roll-away hood with wired peak and volume adjuster
- Single-hand operated, non-whip face aperture draw-cords
- Two hand-warmer pockets with reversed zips and internal security pocket
- Part elasticated self fabric cuffs with hook and loop adjustment
- Single-hand operated, adjustable elasticated draw-cord hem
- Supplied with waterproof storage / stuff sac
- As with all MONTANE® clothing, FREEFLOW® fabric contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier to keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this.
- Down clothing ideally needs to be handwashed with care.
- Wash in a mild soap in warm water 40C/110F. MONTANE® recommends Nikwax Tec Wash.
- DO NOT use fabric softeners, bleach or liquid detergent.
- Rinse the product thoroughly after washing to remove any soap traces.
- You must dry the product carefully in a tumble drier on a cool setting. Check regularly that the product is drying well and turn inside out. Never dry clean.
- It will take some time to dry a down product thoroughly, even if the outer fabric is dry the down may not be.
- MONTANE® recommends a professional cleaning service if in any doubt.
