THE DEFINITIVE, SINGLE LAYER, LIGHTWEIGHT MOUNTAIN JACKET

The original soft shell. At home high in the mountains or working hard on an endurance winter ultra run. Windproof and breathable high quality Pertex and a fast wicking brushed liner combine to to give an exceptionally versatile fabric. One that will work hard to transport sweat and act as both mid and outer windproof layer. Wear over a baselayer tech tee and layer over the Krypton when needed with a Primaloft jacket whilst inactive or belaying.

- Active cut with slight drop tail
- Bi-component DRYACTIV® Suede / Thermal Mesh zoned lining
- Two mesh-lined zipped chest pockets positioned clear of waist belt or harness
- Zipped sleeve pocket for compass or GPS
- Hook and loop adjustable cuffs with rubberised tabs
- Two-way front zip with internal storm baffle
- Single-hand operated, adjustable elasticated draw-cord hem
- Integral, roll-away helmet hood with reinforced wired peak, single-hand operated elasticated face aperture draw-cords and elasticated volume adjuster
- As with all Montane clothing Pertex Fabric contains a Durable Water Repellancy (DWR) as the first barrier to keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this.
- Machine wash in warm water at 40C/104F with a mild soap. Montane recommend that you use Nikwax Tech Wash.
- DO NOT use fabric softeners or bleach.
- It may be required every 6 months or so to reproof the garment to restore its water repellancy. Montane recommend Nikwax TX Direct.
