This backcountry snow pack does not discriminate on how you choose to get down the mountain. Our VersaHaul strap system can carry a snowboard or skis any way. Thats right, ANY WAY!.. Vertical, diagonal both ways, a-frame and horizontal. The PowderKeg uses our M-Flex Access aluminum wire perimeter frame to effectively support the weight of your snow gear and still allow backpanel access to the inside of the pack. This frame combined with our variCant dual-pivoting hipbelt will flex and pivot to accommodate body motion so you'll never feel restricted by your pack while slashing pow or dropping cliffs. To protect the pack
from sharp edges, the front and side panels use tough and rubbery EPO fabric so it can stand up to years of edge abuse. The fabrics on this pack are coated in polyurethane and DWR for added strength that will also shed water and ice with ease. A large front pocket to stash snow tools, hipbelt pockets and a soft-lined goggle pocket make this pack unbeatable for the powder-hound in all of us.

VersaHaul ski/snowboard carry system
The VersaHaul is a well-thought out strap system that looks clean and has a 2-in-1 functionality. It allows skis to be carried ANY way (vertical, diagonal both ways and a-frame). Snowboards can be carried vertically using the VersaHaul straps or horizontally using the backpanel. The straps are organized in a very clean but versatile way. They can be released and slide to create loops that carry skis or a snowboard in just about any way possible. The upper straps use an ergo-pull style hipbelt enclosure that creates a 2-in-1 function that not only secures your gear but compresses the pack as it does so. The deployable bottom anchor strap holds your gear in place from slipping downward and is coated in polyurethane for strength and durability against sharp edges. This strap can be fed through the nylon loops to creat many carrying possibilities and can even be configured into 2 ice-axe carry loops.
